how sweet.

how sweet the Father's love for us.  it is an amazing day out.  it is warm, sunny, bright.  there is hope for warm days ahead with fresh growth. flowers are emerging and dazzling in all their early spring glory. 

i just returned from an amazing weekend away with the youth group from our church.  my hesitancy, uncertainty, insecurity about the trip were overwhelming last week.  wow.  what i would have missed had i listened to those negative voices telling me to stay home in my comfort zone.  the weekend was such a success on so many levels.  i just learned so much about these youth girls, the other leaders, how to serve as part of the body of Christ instead of as an individual, how to offer worship without serving perfection, how much like jonah i am!  so i am starting out this monday so thankful for a cold, snowy weekend in the mountains followed by this beautiful, sunny spring day.  God's love is sweet.
